Welcome. You are bidding on an original 1977 Volkswagen Convertible Beetle. This car has been in storage for many years and was just recently put into driving condition. I was told this car has 34,000 original miles. This car has the original owners manual and service book. It was bought new in San Francisco and has stayed in the Bay Area its whole life. Exterior: This car still retains its original factory paint. It is the color riffblau and still has the original sticker. This car has never been in an accident. It still retains all of the original stickers and panels. The hood is kinked to the car and can be seen in the photos. This car did spend some time near the San Fransisco bay and does have a rust area in the driver side floor board(This too is also shown in the pictures.) This car has very nice gaps and the doors open and close they way they did from the factory. The paint is in good shape, but a proper wash and wax would make this car look sharp. Interior: The interior of this car is also in nice shape. It still retains the original rubber mats, seats, visors, dash etc. The convertible top does have some holes. These can be seen from the pictures. This car is fitted with an Sony Stereo. Engine/Transmission: The engine fires right up and sounds nice. It idles properly and makes good power. The transmission shifts through the gears smoothly as well. This is the original engine to the car and according to the previous owner this car has 34,000 original miles. Overall: This is a great chance to get into an original convertible beetle. This car could use a quick once over(cleaning, tuneup etc) and it would be a great driver.
