Up for sale is My 1985/ 2 porsche 944. This is a 2.5L 4 cyl gasoline vehicle, rear wheel drive equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission. Vehicle is all original, and I have been only the 3rd owner. I have now had the vehicle for about 6 years and I am in the process of buying a house and starting a family, so the car needs to go. The Car: The body is in great shape in my opinion, there is one scratch on the rear bumper, and just normal front bumper wear and tear from highway driving etc.... There are no paint chips anywhere on the doors or the hood, the removable hard top roof peice is free of any paint damage as well. The interior has normal wear and tear on the front seats, the rear seats look brand new. I have all the original floormats that came with the car. The only issues with the inside of the vehicle is that the centor console lid hinge is broken and will need to be replaced, and the plastic clips that hold the visors up have dried and cracked as well. There is one dry crack in the dash board. I have replaced the transaxle, the clutch, the tires, the battery 3 times, the spark plugs twice, the plug wires in the time that I have owned the vehicle. When I moved away for school the car sat for awhile and now I am having problems getting the vehicle to start. The motor turns over, but it just will not fire up. And if the car sits for longer than 2 days the battery will be dead as well.. I do not have the time nor the money to put into this car, and It is killing me to watch it sit and not be enjoyed. This vehicle will need some work to get it running back to the way it did for so long. Buyer will have to trailer the vehicle, and Is responsible for that. The clutch and transaxle was replaced at a Porsche Shop while I was in school in North Carolina. I purchased a Centerforce brand clutch for the car.
