I get my fair share of 1st places...:-) Last 2 shows both were 1st's. The car is stunning to say the least. But I will never get a overall because my paint is not that nice. I have some rocks chips, couple bubbles in the paint. Again nothing that isn't on any other 31 year old car car. I just want to build a car that could get a overall win. Best of Show. That will take some $$$ . This 911SC has had a slant nose upgrade at some point (if ordered from the factory would have been a $23,000.00 option) Mine is all steal, gaps are mint !!. I Also have a low mile 1987 Carrea 3.2 motor upgrade, along with Mint 930 seats, and new tires with maybe 1,500 miles on them. The car has been serviced with 11 quarts of Brad Penn 20-50 and lucas with the factory oil filter (spring rate cridical for the front mounted oil cooler under the middle of the car, ). Never gets over 185 even at 100 degree day !!! New plugs and wires. Motor runs and looks brand new. I bet there is 50k invested in this car. Runs like a top !! And ya it is fast. I have owned a few and this is the best 911 I have ever seen or drove. It has the 5 speed 915 trans shifts great serviced with new speco factory trans oil. No cracks in the dash 9 of 10 interior. This month I have had serval 4-5 hour drives, very tight car !!!. It has the Blisten package. ($1,600.00 just for the 2 front struts) Mine are in A1 Shape, along with the entire car. You can park next to a $50,000 dallor ride and hold your head high. You have some of the look of a 930 (without the turbo wing and wide fenders) at a fraction of the price. It could have been ordered like this in 87 with the slant nose. Just a cool old Porsche that will turn heads. Not everyone can step up to a real factory slant nose. You are looking around 40-50k for a nice one. You might be like me and then it's to nice to drive.....:-). So then it sits in the garage. I drive this every weekend 4-5 hours just a kick to say the least. Nada says 25k low 30k high. I get 5 grand for the slant nose option, and nothing for the motor upgrade. The motor alone could cost you 9k. At 15,995.00 ya it's a good deal. !!!!! You get a different quality when you get a show car, we love our cars and take great pride in making sure it is the best she can be. The car sold before me for $26,000.00 out the door with taxes.
