I bought this car in 2003 when I was a sophomore in high school and restored it over the following two years. I replaced the fenders, running boards, and the bumpers and did a lot of body work. The floor pans were all replaced and the undercarriage was all fiber glassed. I had it painted viper blue because at the time I didn't care about stock color. I rebuilt the engine almost entirely stock except for a few things. I put less then 800 miles on after the rebuild. I did almost nothing to the interior except some insulation. It runs and drives well. There is some rust on the bottom of the doors and the running boards. I put cheap bumpers on it and the chrome has since peeled off so they have been painted. It was a fun project car for me to learn on and I had a lot of fun driving it for a while but it has sat for too long and it is time to move it on.
