Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 You are bidding on a well-maintained 1997 Saturn SC1 coupe. The motor is very strong with a great deal of passing power – it’s a very peppy little car. Additionally, there is no smoke or oil leaks of any kind. The transmission shifts 100%. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape and will need minimal TLC to get it running like new. The oil has just been changed. The paint is in better than average condition, with the regular little dings and signs of age that you would expect from a car of this vintage. There is a little scuff on the driver’s side front fender (pictured) but nothing that takes away from the overall appeal of the car; the paint on the wing is fading. The interior is in great shape. There is a little bit of what you would expect in terms of wear and tear on the carpet and seats. The driver's seat has a split seam at the bottom (pictured) but the interior overall is better than average. All of the systems function properly – radio, locks, etc – for the exception for the sunroof. I have tried to use the switch to open and close it, but it is unresponsive. It doesn’t leak, however, so it’s not necessarily a big deal. It‘s probably a minor fix involved – but I have not had it checked out since it doesn’t really affect the performance of the car. The tires have about 80% tread left on them. The brakes stop short and straight. Issues worth mentioning: The muffler needs to be replaced. Once purchased, I can, at new owner’s expense have it replaced for $215 prior to pick-up/delivery. I have already priced it through my mechanic and it can be done in an afternoon. If you can have it done for the same price or cheaper, I wanted the information here for you to bid accordingly. Overall, this is a solid vehicle that will require very little to get 100%. Regardless of the vintage, it is in great shape with years of service yet to be had. This vehicle is being sold "AS-IS" for mileage and year only. Unless stated otherwise, this vehicle is “ready to drive” without issue, to any destination in the country once purchased, so please bid with confidence and sincerity. If you are new to eBay, please understand that any bid is an intention to purchase and the winning bid is a contractual obligation to execute that purchase. Do not bid if you do not intend on purchasing this car. It cost money and time to relist a vehicle. I have tried to represent the full extent of my knowledge of this car, if there are any additional questions or comments, please contact me via email. ***PLEASE READ ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING.
