Vehicle Detail

I'm going to regret selling this one but circumstances are compelling me to do so. This is a nice solid car to bring back to life. It was put into dry storage about 15 years ago after something broke in the rear axle. Then at some time the mice moved into the engine compartment and ate up a few things. Luckily they stayed out of the rest of the car. I don't want to make this seem too hateful, this is actually stll a really nice car. I just pulled this car out of my storage unit, put in it in March. Car is dirty! I did not tart it up at all, it could certainly look nicer with a little effort. The body is essentially very solid. There is some minor (relatively) blistering above the driver's rear wheel lip, even less on lower passenger ft fender, and some rust in the front corner of the driver's footwell. The driver's front floor will need some patching See photos. Probably the old windshield gasket leaked. The car was repainted, but now some paint failure on the hood. With some touch up it is good for a "driver". Gaps are all good, no signs of major past collision. Over all a nice straight body. All chrome and trim is good. The windshield trim is included but not currently installed. When the car was painted (or maybe later?) they put in a new windshield gasket but not the trim. The interior is very presentable. Minor puncture in seats, crack in dash top. Put on a dash cap and it is all ,again, good for a driver. I wouldn't do much else but clean it up. All glass is good. Windows operate freely. The engine is not stuck, it moved with pulling on the fan blade. Radiator fluid is present, has not leaked out. Brake fluid too but brakes are down. I made no attempt to crank or start the engine. There are a few wires that need replaced, a heater hose, vent hose too I think. The mice chewed them up. But, everything is there. The air pump and plumbing is off but I have them. 4 speed with overdrive. I have sourced a complete extra rear end, it is included. Spare with tools in trunk. Repair manual The previous owner was a meticulous aeronautics engineer. He loved this car and took great care of it. It was a great driver till the rear end gave out. I'm sorry I have not diagnosed it, but as I mentioned, there is a complete extra rearend included if needed. Probably a few things I've forgotten but you get the picture I think. I always encourage a personal inspection if possible. Feel free to call me, Doug 937 231 0193 Thanks for looking! Some extra stuff, 2 head gasket sets, brake kits, clutch hydraulic kit, wiper blades, few other things. I forget the milage, will check and add later.
