Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 You are looking at an exceptionally clean and a very rare vintage 1974 CZ Jawa 175 enduro motorcycle. This bike only has 349 total miles on it and is in exceptional condition for a 36 year old dirt bike. This is an oil injected 16 horsepower engine that was very strong for it’s day. Every single part is original – nothing has been replaced or taken off. It even has the original hard to find key in the headlight globe assembly. It has the original CZ emblem on the gas tank and the seat. The tank has no rust inside and is in great condition. This bike has been in a California garage under cover and had not been started or ridden since 1976 which the hard to find blue and gold California license plate indicates. Since it has been sitting for 35 years it has some rust on the rims, spokes, front headlight bracket and other minor spots but can be SOS’ed off very easily – I imagine. This is the only motorcycle that I know of that has the left gearshift also double as the kick starter. Just push the gearshift in and move to the back to kick start. - see photos as gearshift and as kickstarter - very rare type kickstarter. Just try to find an original CZ seat, fender, gas cap anything – they cost a small fortune and all of these parts are in great shape. Even the tires are original Barum universal tires that originally came with this bike and CZ Jawa’s and are in great shape – there is no cracking at all on both of these tires which shows how well the bike was stored and kept. You will not find many of these around and are becoming very rare. This is a great restoration project – I just do not have the time. The bike is missing the left hand front blinker yellow plastic cover, the left hand rear red reflector and the rear brake light cover has one reflector missing – see pictures. CZ was founded 1919 in Strakonice. Although it originally started out manufacturing weapons, in 1932 CZ produced its first Motorcycle. During the 1950s, CZ joined forces with the "Jawa". During the 1960s and 1970s, CZ mainly manufactured bikes based on two Models: The 125/175 single-cylinder, and the 250 twin-cylinder. I have been riding and restoring bikes for over 40 years and this is a great bike ready for restoration but again I just don’t have the time and it needs to belong to someone that has the time to do the restoration or just keep it the way it is and drive it. This is a great deal for a classic, one of a kind, motorcycle and it has a very little reserve price and you won't find these anywhere and especially in this great original condition. The bike has been off the California DMV system for over 30 years and will come with a bill of sale documenting that it has not been run and stored only for 35 years ,so there will be no issue registering this vehicle.
