1965 (Late '65) Ford Mustang 2-door hardtop This is a classic "Late '65" 1965 Ford Mustang 2 door hardtop in Vintage Burgundy Metallic. It currently has 84,664 actual miles and is in excellent condition. It is equipped with Ford's 200 CID "Thriftpower-Six" engine which was professionally rebuilt in 2005. It is mated to Ford's 3 speed Automatic transmission. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine is in excellent mechanical shape! Original trim pieces are intact, and the interior is in great condition. The only rust issue on the car is on the right-hand frame rail which can be repaired. The car is currently located in indoor storage, not exposed to the elements. This is an excellent car to use as a daily driver or for a full restoration. It has an updated two bowl brake master cylinder for safety. New brake lines. The brakes have been gone through and replaced where needed. It does not smoke, their are no leaks and carburetor and engine have been rebuilt. It also comes with both new aftermarket bumpers and a fuel cap. The doors close like they should and do not sag. The windows all work and the interior is great. I bought this for my daughter but she has no interest in it. It needs a small amount of body work and when it has a paint job in this color it will look amazing.
