Up for bid is a very clean, great running 2000 new beetle. This car belonged to my niece who has owned it problem-free for the last 3 years. I purchased this car for her from a private owner who took great car. When we got it, it had about 40k miles on it, now it has about 77k. It was mainly highway driven for the past couple of years to work and school. The oil was changed every 3 or 4k miles during the time that she has had it. The last oil change was about 2000 miles ago so it is due soon. The motor is very strong and quite peppy. Gas mileage is excellent at about low to mid-30's mpg. I just had the transmission serviced for her this past week so, there is new fluid, filter and gaskets all around. The transmission shifts flawlessly as it should. It has all the power options - windows, door locks, etc. - and they all function properly. The only thing that doesn't work is the radio - easily replaced. The paint on the car is in decent shape - without any real dings or dents worth mentioning here. The interior is also stain and blemish-free, with the carpet and seats being pretty well preserved. The tires are in great shape as well. They were purchased last year and have plenty of tread left on them. There really isn't too much more to say - the car is in great shape and has given my family absolutely no issues in the time that we have owned it. She is selling it because her family has expanded and she has now purchased a small SUV. She loves the car and it has been really fun to drive (especially for the past week or so that I've had it - don't tell!) This vehicle is being sold "AS-IS" for mileage and year only.
