Up for auction is my beloved 2010 Volkswagen Golf TDI. I purchased this car earlier this year brand new and have been the only owner. The car is as close to brand new as you are going to get. The car gets awesome fuel mileage, my averages have been 40mpg in the city and 44-45mpg on the highway and I am sure that better averages can be had if you stay off the go pedal more than I do. This new TDI pumps out an impressive 140hp and 236ft/lbs of torque which translates into a very quick car due to its weight and balance. The car really carves up the corners much like a high priced sports car and merging into traffic on the interstate is a no worries kind of experience. The TDI can go from 0-60mph in about 7 seconds, which is very spirited to say the least. The seats in the car feel like a glove when your in the car, they are very comfortable yet you are very planted due to the high bolster sides and excellent ergonomics. In my personal opinion this is the ultimate commuter car due to its above excellent fuel economy, reliability, sportiness and all around good looks. It makes commuting fun and everytime I drive it I get out with a smile on my face. The stereo in the car is excellent, with six speaker surround sound and a high powered head unit it really pumps out the sounds. It has Siruis Satelite Radio (I just renewed it for another year), CD Changer, iPod Control, SD Card slot on the front, iPod Cable in the arm rest and TOUCH SCREEN, which is very nice. It also has Bluetooth that works through the stereo for hands free calling. I paid quite a bit in taxes and dealer junk fees, so here is a rare opportunity for you to buy a practically brand new TDI with the much sought after 6spd manual gearbox (dead reliability for as long as you own the car, no worries about death of your automatic) and SAVE BIG MONEY by not having to pay taxes, junk fees and absorb immediate depreciation upon purchase.
