Rare in this color red, there are very few flaws on the body to note. The stainless trim also looks very nice with only some light scratches. Unfortunately on the rear window the glass is delaminating in the lower left corner. (see photo) Inside, the front seats look good, but both have minor seam splits, and the drivers seat has entry and exit wear on the bolster. The back seat also looks good but has a crack on the upper edge from sun exposure. The entire parcel shelf area is also dry and dusty from sun exposure, and the dash has two noticeable cracks. Mechanically, it runs and drives great. The brakes were recently replaced, and there are service notes inked onto the air cleaner. Overall a very good Mercedes 500 that can be cosmetically restored while you enjoy it.
