1971 Honda CL

Bought this from an estate sale, didn't receive title, so sold with bill of sale only. Last registration sticker on it is 1974! The story I got was it was purchased in Japan, disassembled, put the pieces in luggage and brought to the US on a plane in the early '70's. All complete, engine turns over freely, the brakes and clutch are not frozen and move freely too. Original tires are not cracked and seem to hold air. Some of the chrome is pitted, some of it cleans up nicely with fine steel wool. Transmission does not seem to shift properly. All in all the bike seems to be a true survivor in great original shape, odometer reads 1197 and still has original key in it! Honestly I'm not sure the exact year, we had a hard time finding any info on it that was not in Japanese. 1970 1971 1972 ??? The cylinder on the CL90K sits vertical compared to the basic CL90 and all others I've seen sit horizontal. If this info is wrong I apologize, its just something I noticed. Thanks for looking!
