1966 Volkswagen Beetle VIN # 116223273 2400 CC with a 4 speed transmission Do you want to own a piece of history? Check out this nicely redone beetle. The pictures below do not do justice for this car. It can only be truly appreciated in person. This sprectramaster green and white classic is not your ordinary everyday beetle. The paint on this beetle is a really nice combination and it looks great.These beetles came with a 1300 engine that produced about 50 HP... this one is a 2400 cc engine that with the upgrades is estimated at over 200 HP. Take a look at some of the things that were done to this engine: Aluminum case 94 Bore 9.5 deck Forged nitrided counterweight crankshaft with 2.0 chevy rod journals Forged chromoly flywheel 5.7 inch chevy rod journal race rods CB performance FK-89 cam with straight cut cam gears 28 MM ultra light lifters and race cam bearings Maxi 30 full flow oil pump Race differential built to withstand 8600 RPM shifts through the scat shifter After market straight axle 4 Custom WEBER carburetors MSD 6 AL IGNITION mounted under the rear seats equipped with a 2 step and micro switch to leave the line hard. In addition to the upgrades to the engine, a Scat Pro-Car Custom interior was done in white. The beetle has a custom exhaust that sounds awesome. The clutch is new so the 4 speed shifts great. The miles on the car are showing 18,068 however we are selling this car as TMU. The 5 spoke polished alloy wheels look great as does most of the chrome on the car. I even have papers showing what was done to the car by CB PERFORMANCE RACING PRODUCTS. This classic air cooled beetle is a "must see to believe" kind of car. The horn works, the headliner looks great, the glass is great, the chrome looks good, the wheels are in great shape, the interior is beautiful, the engine sounds awesome, all in all this is a really cool car.
