Up for bid is a great running 1988 Mazda RX-7. The engine is really strong. It has no leaks or drips of any kind and doesn't smoke at all. Previous owner installed Borla exhaust system, and a K&N cold air kit and oil breather. The car runs like a top. Mechanically this car doesn't need much. The clutch is strong. Brakes are in decent shape. Tires are practically new with about 85% tread left. The convertivertible top functions properly as well. The a/c still works as well as the heat. Lights flip up and down properly. The paint has a few bruises and scrapes, but the body is straight overall. It could use paint, but the car still shows well. The interior has definite signs of wear on the seats in particular. The carpet is in decent shape. The top has tears on both sides - however, IT DOES NOT LEAK AT ALL!!! The targa portion of the top is perfectly fine, the lower section needs to be replaced/repaired. Odometer doesn't function, so it can be replaced. Passenger side window doesn't work. Obviously, this is a project car. Again, mechanically it is in great shape. All the issues are cosmetic in nature. For a couple of bucks, restoring this car to former glory, especially for a RX-7 enthusiast, would be relatively easy to accomplish. This car is being presented "AS-IS" for year and mileage.
