The car is a 1966 Coronet 500 it came from the factory with a 383 4bbl and 4speed manual trans. only about 2289 of these where made in 1966. The original engine is not in the car and is long gone but in its place is a healthy 440 with aftermarket aluminum intake and holley 750 carb. The 440 is a 1974 block with good power that runs and drives great no leaks or stains. The 4 speed shifts smoothly and the clutch is newer I have a book with the parts that have been added or updated as well as pics before the paint job was done so you can see what is under the paint. The car was painted a few years ago and it was never buffed out to make the clear coat shine so it still wears the orange peel and it has a look that I would call rhino liner ish. The interior needs the most attention but is mostly complete. The car runs and drives great so you can drive it while you restore it. The rear end is the typical 8 3/4" with a 3.23 sure grip in it. The car has newer dual exhaust with hi po manifolds to true dual exhaust and knockoff "flowmaster" mufflers. Also all of the exterior lights and signals work but the dash cluster gauges do not the last owner added aftermarket oil pressure,temp., and volt meter under the dash.
