I purchased this car from a guy who was building a track car. I didn't like some of the stuff he did to it, but I liked the way the flares were done, not the generic style flares you see on so many. It is a very tough looking car. The good is that he started with a really clean body, it has no rust other than left front floor pan has minor rust, straight & clean frame rails, etc. It has fiberglass front R-Model apron, '67 Shelby style hood, spoiler-ed trunk lid & end caps. No engine or trans, what you see is what you get, a clean builder. It is currently in black primer but codes out as follows: VIN Decoded: 5 = 1965 F = Dearborn Assy Plant 09 = Fastback Body C = 289 2V Engine 618xxx = Serial # Door Tag Decoded: 63A = Fastback Body H = Caspian Blue Exterior D2 = White Interior 01B = February 01, 1965 (Assembly Date) 53 = Kansas City (DSO) 6 = 2.80:1 (Rearend) 5 = 4spd (Transmission) The bad is he cut out one section of the cowl vent and the floor where the shifter comes through. He also smoothed off the dash were the knobs/bezels/ignition were and the passenger side flare was never finished. (See Pics) I have clean CA Title to it. It still has original black & yellow license plate on the rear but front is missing.
