You are looking at a 2 door 2000 Volkswagen Golf. It is the base model 2.0l that has many upgrades. The car looks and runs great - it's my daily commuter from Fredericksburg to Richmond, VA each day (140 mile round trip). Here is a list of the upgrades: leather seats added - changed out from the stock cloth Aftermarket Neuspeed Supercharger added(extra $2900). The Neuspeed website claims that this supercharger almost doubles the stock hp. The car has plenty of power in all gears and pulls hard. I have the stock 2.8" pulley and a 2.6" installed. 2.8" pulley provides approx 5psi and the 2.6" bumps it up to between 7 & 9psi according the neuspeed website. Cold Air intake Custom exhaust. 17" Konig wheels with low profile tires. Konig Shocks/Struts which slightly lowered the car. Alpine CD head unit with Sirius Satelite Radio and IPOD connections - also upgradable to add HD radio or a changer and it has a USB hook-up. Upgraded the front bumper with a newer version Golf look - same as the newer MK5 models and had it painted to match. Added lower fog lights to the bumper as well Euro headlight switch so it will control the fog's with a factory look. The car has a body kit installed which is also painted to match. ($1200 with paint and all) Custom leather shift boot with orange stitching to match the leather seats. 8000k HID headlights installed. Light Blue color. Tail lights replaced - the first few pictures have the old stock lights and the later pictures have the newer set. There are a couple little issues - nothing major. Healiner is starting to sag a little above the two front seats Front left fender has a dent right near the headlight where someone backed into it. Intermittent whine for about a second when it is started - it's due to the starter not disengaging quick enough. A new starter or starter rebuild would fix it but it's been intermittent so it hasn't bothered me enought to fix it. Check engine light is on - two codes are coming up pretty consistently and they are both related to the idle air speed. I have been told that it is due to the aftermarket cold air intake (the car was like that when I bought it). Putting a stock airbox back on the car and cleaning the throttle body will clear the light for good according to a local VW tech. The light hasn't been bothering me and I would rather have the increased air flow so I left it as is. I had the door inserts stripped so that they could be recovered in leather to match the seats but have not gotten them done. The inserts are still in the doors but they have no covers on them now. General scratches in the paint - nothing too noticable. The car was involved in accident by a previous owner - no real damage to the car. Only the bumper cover was damaged - there was no damage to the headlights, frame, radiator, or anything else. Airbags didn't deploy. Just a light tap as it was described to me when I bought the car. The body kit and new bumper cover were installed at that time. I later changed out the from bumper to the one described above. I have pictures of it with both bumper covers on it. The car has been well maintained since I have had it - no real idea of what was done before me. I replaced all the tires last year. Front Rack and Pinion started leaking so I had a new one installed Last August. Oil changed every 4-5 thousand miles due to all highway driving. Cooling system was flushed and refilled because the previous owner had the wrong fluid in it - they had normal radiator fluid and I changed it out to the correct VW fluid and installed a new thermostat at the same time. The car has no leaks and does not burn oil or smoke in any way. Only selling this because I am in need of a vehicle I can tow a trailer with.
