Here we go ! I finally decided to sell my precious Saabs and here goes the second one. Its ALWAYS been there for me ! This car has never let me down this is why I feel so guilty :-( Anyway ; enough with the drama , here you have a true survivor a Classic 1986 Saab 9000 That needs nothing in the mechanical and electrical aspect. I've fixed everything there is to fix every seal that needed replacing any issue that arouse I would take care of but its time for the next Saab enthusiast to carry the torch...... If you are looking for a reliable car thats great with gas and in the snow and don't care about looks(even though its not that bad) then this is your car. The car has 129000 miles . I can honestly say this car has another 200,000 miles of life left....All brakes are great, steering is great, AC and heat blowers are great,all mechanical is great, exhaust is in good shape......... cosmetically the car looks really good ! right rear quarter panel has a little surface rust and the paint is a bit faded , the headliner is new , the front seats are not that great so I have them covered with warm sheep skin (see picks) .... tires are in ok shape but I would get two new fronts for the winter........ the clutch and master cylinder are in great condition......... Comes with a Sirius Satellite radio ready to be activated....... Original Stereo working..... This car has is a monster on the highway ! You will not believe the power this turbo has ! When I bought it a few years back the guy that sold it to me said he had replaced the original Turbo Control Box with "THE RED BOX" and he wasn't lying ! As I was driving it the clutch master cylinder lost all its pressure and I lost the ability to shift. Two seconds later it all started working fine , then it happened again I took it to my mechanic and he replaced the master cylinder( The clutch was replaced 3 years ago and is in good shape) it did not fix the problem .It seems to me that the pressure plate is getting stuck and not letting me shift correctly.
