Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a 1973 Ford F-250, 2 wheel drive, Camper Special truck. It has a 360 engine and a 4 speed trans which both are fine. It has a slight exhaust leak I think at the header pipe but other than that it runs out great. I will mention it is cold natured when you first start it but warms up quickly. I have been running this truck quite a bit and I see no problems at all. The engine is very quiet and it shifts great. The interior has a rubber mat on the floor and its in great shape. The seat needs covered but the foam is ok in it. The door panels are good, the dsah is ok with maybe some cracks in the pad, forgot to check it. The truck has dual tanks and as far as I know they both work, Ive only been using the main one. The body on this camper special is unbelieveably nice for a 73 model. There is surface rust starting on the hood and top but the rest of the body is very, very nice. The passenger side has a couple spots here rust is starting but I dont think there are any holes yet. The drivers side has has a very small place fixed sometime ago as you can see a small primer spot in the pics. The rest of the drivers side is very good. Cab mounts are great as is the inside of the bed and the tailgate is solid and works as it should. The front bumper is nice as is the grille. When you open the doors they are very nice as is the rocker panel. Find another 73 that you can say that about!! The rear bumper is a step bumper and theres a trailer hitch on it. I have towed a car with this truck recently with no problems. The camper mounts are still on the truck underneath. This truck shows mileage as 76000 and it is supposed to be the actual mileage. I cannot prove this but I have know the truck for several years and feel the mileage is correct. It belonged to an older gentleman who only drove it a few times a year. The truck has been licensed and inspected within the last couple years, he just got sick and couldnt drive any longer. Remember this is a 73 truck, not an 03 so dont expect it to be perfect but for the year it is its VERY nice. Email me with any questions you may have. This is a classic guys so dont miss out! I require a $250.00 non refundable deposit at auctions end and the balance within 3 days. The truck can sit here awhile as long as its paid for according to the auction. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid on this great 1973 Ford classic truck!!!
