1990 Suzuki Katana 750. This is the more realistic and commuter friendly version of the famous GSX-R. While the GSX-R is designed for all-out top-end performance, the Katana is tuned for honest, usable power in the range you'll actually use on the street. The Good Starts, runs, drives, stops. Basically, just works. Low milesLooks sharp The Not So Good Drips fuel from the carb overflow when running or on prime. Needs a windshield and front blinkers (rear blinkers work as expected) All in all, this is a great bike. I've ridden it around town and on the interstate so I have no question to its capabilities. It's a little hard starting due to the flooding issue mentioned above, but it does always start on its own. I ride an '89 Katana 600 streetfighter as my daily driver, so I can attest to the katana's all around versatility and commuter-worthyness.
