Selling a rare Volvo 240 series intercooled Turbo wagon that was made from 1981-1985. This car is originally from Massachusetts and I purchased this car is 2004 with the intent to restore this car to its original condition. I drove it through 2006 until I started having problems with the electrical harness under the hood in the engine compartment and the seals in the motor went bad. In the fall of 2007, I had an engine installed with 26k original miles, and had the wiring harness replaced under the hood which set me back about $2,000 dollars plus the labor. I also had the rear brake calipers replaced in 2007 on both sides along with the rear rotors. Later that year I had the whole exhaust system replaced from the cat to the back. The outside body is pretty much solid including the floor boards as these cars tend to rust out, except near the rear mud flaps there is some surface rust, and the drivers side mirror is broken. Over all the body and paint are in decent shape but not a show room shine.This car was running up until 2009 when the mechanical distributor went bad. I bought a replacement that was never installed. The car is currently not running and has been sitting since 2009 at a Volvo repair shop. I am not sure as to why it wont start now. The interior is in fair condition both front seats are torn as you can see in the pics. The power windows, locks, and lights still work. This car can be fixed up or used as a parts car. If someone who has the time and the money to fix this car back to its original glory. This car would really be a nice classic 240 series turbo. I just do not have the time nor the money. As I stated the car does not run it would have to be towed if have any questions feel free to ask thanks for looking!!
