Vehicle Detail
Classic e30 M3. LOCATED IN MINDEN, NEVADA I am relisting this car AND redescribing it - as the previous buyer inspected the car and found "many" faults. Hi Comments are that there was a lot of rust under the car. As mentioned to many of the people that asked questions there is a hole in the trunk that will need a piece cut out and replaced - the comment from the recent inspection is that it is the size of your fist. He found oil leaks in the engine, transmition and diff. I am going to have that confirmed as in the time I was driving it there was ZERO oil leaks and the BMW mechanic that serviced the car gave it a clean bill of health mechanically. He also commented that the paintwork was far from perfect and would need repainting. One of the question from a previous bidder was about the colout. I believe the car was originally Diamond Schwartz and was converted to Lachsilber I bought this car a year ago with the intention of a little travel in the US then to export it to Australia with me. Well - I'm back in Aus. with a new business and the car is in storage with friends in Nevada. The friends lease is up - so my toy has to go. The leather seats (front) were professionally recovered with leather by the previous owner just before i bought it, so they are in good condition. There is about 2" of stitching in top center of the read seat that needs to be resewn - The leather is not damaged, just a the stictching has come undone. I replaced the oil cooler and oil hoses after it srung a leak - I think the engine may still have a coating of oil from that leak - I have not washed it since. This car was in a light font left accident in the mid 90's and when i bought it I was not 100% happy with the repair to front apron. So I had it redone by one of the best shops in town and now the inside apron looks perfect. According to it's recent inspection there is evidence of past rear end damage as well. Clearly this car needs attention, and any potential buyer should be prepared for some time in the shop. It can be driven and does drive very well - I spent a few months driving throug SoCal and Arizona with my family before putting it in storage. Car has clear Nevada title in my name, and is LOCATED IN MINDEN, NEVADA. First bid is the reserve. And I have lowered that price substantially. This Auction may be ended early. There are no warranties expressed or implied. The sale is "as is, where is". Shipping and associated costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Payment by bank transfer or Paypal only, and the car will not be released till funds clear. No bidding history, check with me before bidding. I will try to answer all questions, but keep in mind I am in Australia and the car is in Nevada. On Oct-15-10 at 13:50:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on the Oil Leaks - I had the ground checked where the car has been stored since May and there is no oil on the ground.
