Added on 10/16/2010 3:40 PM. I've been asked by eBay to revise my description as my current description contains hateful, offensive, foul un-politicly correct language. What a bunch of BS. Political Correctness is exactly what's wrong with this nation. The sensitive little PC police are running everything including eBay. We've ditched whats morally correct and replaced it with (PC) political correctness police. So for all you car guys that I offended with my description of the repaired area as "pidgeon sh*t" sorry. To those who have never used or heard the word sh*t used in a conversation or a descriptive adjective for bad welding, I appologize. I should have said bad welds, pidgeon poop welds, globbed welds, crappy welds, welds that didn't penetrate the metal that well, or welds that were done by someone who didn't have a clue what they were doing. Finally, if my original description offended a potential bidder please, please don't bid because I couldn't stand knowing that a milk toast, sensitive little (PC) fruit cake ended up with my car, I'd rather keep it. I bought this 67’ Mustang Fastback GTA VIN # 7F02”S code”134*** 63A 1 2G 19M 33 D U years ago to save it from our county crusher. This car had been used for a parts car for a coupe if you can believe that but I was able to gather back some of the original parts. This car is rough but it does have a heartbeat and is pretty much just how I bought it. The original 390/C6 is long gone and it currently has a 302 with a C4 and has never run since I have owned this car. The original posi rear end was gone along with the wheels but I found a posi and installed it just enough to make the car a roller. The trunk is actually pretty sound inside with some surface rust and the trunk seal around the trunk lid is in perfect condition. The brake pedal has a POWER DISC BRAKES emblem on the pedal but the front brakes are drums. I had a body shop look at the car some years back and the estimator said the car had been wrecked in the front end at some point and the brakes that are on this car might not be what came from the factory. He said the repairs that were done look like they were done in a back yard as the welds that were done look like a "pigeon poop" on the repairs. He said the body of the car does not appear to be bent as I had questioned the driver’s side door jamb gap (tight). He said the gap is tight because so much of the floor is rusted out on the driver’s side which is a lot of the strength of the body and that the body has started to sag. The driver’s side window regulator is gone but 90% of the original interior is there. I have the front fenders and front valance but are very rough but they do contain some of the original equipment in them but the GTA emblems have been harvested from the fenders. Now, try and follow along. I have a title to this car but it is not titled in my name, it is titled to a guy that bought it from a guy who died but I have a signed and notarized release from the father of the deceased, I have a written bill of sale from the guy whose name is on the title but it is not notorized and I have owned this car since 1991. I bought this fastback with good intentions of restoring it but I just sat on my big fat butt and did nothing with it. If the title situation is a problem for you then don’t bid on the car but the winning bidder will get a notarized bill of sale from me along with what I have for paper work and a letter explaining the past 30 year history that I know about this car also notarized. I have several more photos of this car so if you want more info contact me through ebay and I will answer your questions promptly. I'm adding a photo of the drivers side front inner fender that was patched. The whole area that appears black in the front is the patch panel. The damage was cut out and the panel was over lapped and tacked into place on the inside. There is no strength from the repair and the driver side inner fender needs to be replaced in my opinion. Both sides need to be replaced in my opinion. There is a beautiful GTA coupe being sold on eBay at this time that is the same factory color as what this car came with and the same interior color as well. On Oct-16-10 at 22:29:03 PDT, seller added the following information: 10/16/11:30 PM - I'm adding a couple more pictures of the front end repair that was done on the drivers side. For you who are asking, this whole inner fender needs to be replaced and better detailed pictures is not going to change that. As I stated in a previous Q & A, if I were restoring this car I would replace both sides, Period. But that's just me.
