I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I driven this BEAUTY as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed !!The car has what appears to be the smooth, original 1584cc VW four cylinder motor in it and running well. We had a local mechanic look it over and he did a minor tune up on the engine including a valve and carb. adjustment, replaced the clutch and installed all new motor mounts so the car is ready to go for the new owner. It also has a good four speed manual gearbox. The Red exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The Black convertible top is brand new and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do. Most of the rubber seals on this car are new including side window seals, quarter window seals, door seals, convertible top seals, front hood seal, rear hood seal, windshield seal and rear glass seal, etc... The Off White interior is also in nice condition with NICE front bucket seats, NICE rear bench seat, NICE Gray carpeting throughout, NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE door panels, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, NICE sun visors and a NICE BRAND NEW White headliner . This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including a brand new Kenwood AM/FM stereo radio with CD / MP3 player with a detachable faceplate and nice aftermarket speaker's mounted in the front, Dual factory exterior stainless steel mirrors, good heater and defroster and good factory seat belts. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are nearly new and are mounted on nicely painted wheels with chrome Original Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAL chrome and stainless on this car is all good including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. It also comes with a brand new matching convertible top boot. The front trunk area is clean and contains a full sized spare tire. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot ! This little 1972 Volkswagen "Karmann" Super Beetle Convertible is a real find ! I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I driven this BEAUTY as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed !!
The car has what appears to be the smooth, original 1584cc VW four cylinder motor in it and running well. We had a local mechanic look it over and he did a minor tune up on the engine including a valve and carb. adjustment, replaced the clutch and installed all new motor mounts so the car is ready to go for the new owner. It also has a good four speed manual gearbox. The Red exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The Black convertible top is brand new and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do. This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including a brand new Kenwood AM/FM stereo radio with CD / MP3 player with a detachable faceplate and nice aftermarket speaker's mounted in the front, Dual factory exterior stainless steel mirrors, good heater and defroster and good factory seat belts. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are nearly new and are mounted on nicely painted wheels with chrome Original Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAL chrome and stainless on this car is all good including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. It also comes with a brand new matching convertible top boot.
