Vehicle Detail

(We are relisting this with a new lower reserve – if you placed a bid last time, we encourage you to try again!) Chassis # 460701 Paint code #68-6608-G Engine #752942 Mileage 124,711miles (77,320 km) My wife and I have enjoyed this car for five years, driving it daily until our recent move to Las Vegas (where A/C is a necessity). Sadly, we have decided it’s time to re-home it to someone who will love it as much as we do. This European model features 5 green gauges and Euro-style tail and running lights. The speedometer and odometer read in kilometers, however the odometer has been inoperative for the past year. The spare tire wheel appears original, but the tires are rather tired. The interior is clean overall. The headliner is pristine and the seats have no rips. The dash is showing some slight cracking underneath the dash mat. The carpet has seen better days, and I’m in the process of removing it. The steering wheel is aftermarket. The floor pans are solid and pedal boards look original. All electrics work, except for the clock. The body of this little beauty is fair, but will need paint. According to the paint code the original color was Aga blue. Some issues are a small crack and some chips in the front air dam, a scratch on the driver’s side door that was filled with dealer paint, and some small rust holes on the left rocker panel. The front suspension pan was replaced by my mechanic, a former Roger Bursch shop foreman. The glass looks good, and the windscreen has no major chips. The chrome is in good condition, aside from a slight dent in the left headlight bezel. The previous owner said he did some work including: installing Weber carburetors, installing a new gas tank and a rebuilt fuel pump, a transmission rebuild with a short shift kit installed (which I have removed and replaced with a standard shift system, but the short shift kit can be included). He also installed new wheel bearings, installed the Dynamat Extreme front and rear to muffle road noise, replaced the exhaust, and installed an aftermarket front end stiffening bar. The engine has been running well and starts right up. It has an exhaust leak that ticks under load, and the Euro heaters work. The 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly and is much more user-friendly since I installed the standard shift lever. Please remember this is a 43 year-old car you are bidding on. It will be sold without warranty in as-is condition. Please ask all the questions you’d like prior to your bid, or make an appointment to inspect it. I am happy to send more detailed photos at bidder's request. The sale to the winning bidder will be final with a $1000 deposit due within 48 hours, and the balance due within 5 days of auction close. Paypal will be accepted. All checks must clear before delivery. Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time.
