I purchased this 944 from a friend in need of money. It did not run when I bought it. It is now more than 85% restored. It runs and drives well and is fun to drive. I have been driving this car for more than a week for about 60 miles a day with no issues. What still needs to be done is just mostly cosmetic. It has; torn front seats, slightly cracked dash, needs the rubber parts put back on the interior roof ( I have both parts) the carpets need to be cleaned, it has a 6 inch crack in the corner of the windshield, it has a hood but it is not the right one, so the lights have to stay up. The rpm dial does not work. The ground effect on the passengers front side is chipped and the paint is flaking off. I think that is all. Other than that, it is mechanically sound. It drives great. A little bit of cosmetic care and it could be a real find for any car lover. I am also selling this car locally. If there is a buyer before the end of auction, I will reserve the right to end the auction immediately. The Winning bidder must give a deposit of $500 at the end of auction. The remainder must be paid within 48 hours of auction close.
