1955 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton dump truck. 6100 series. 261ci straight six. 51,000 miles. Speedometer cable seems to be slipping. Engine refreshed 18,000 miles ago. 4 speed manual transmission-2 speed rear axle (works good). Good brakes-with hydro-vac assist. Front tires are retreads-O.K. condition and back tires (all 4)-EXCELLENT condition. Mechanically sound truck. All lights work. 2 speed wipers (low & high) works. Tag on inner door reads 16,000gvw. One bad glass-driver's door-is cracked but still rolls up and down. Windshield and rear glass has been replaced. Nice interior with nice vinyl seat...NO TEARS OR RIPS. No body work needed inside cab area. New cab corners welded on. Most body work needed is on fender areas. One small hole on dump bed on driver's side-outer rail...does not affect hauling capabilities. Vehicle is AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY!! No negotiating price after final winning bid.
