Used 1953 Buick Special Eight - A very straight car that needs complete restoration. Original Exterior Color: Black Original Interior Color: Two tone Green In-line 8 cyl. 74,000 miles on OD. The car has surface rust on the entire car. It only has a few rust holes in the front fenders, rocker panels, and quarter panels. One small rust hole in the trunk and the car needs new front floors. Car frame is good. Car is very straight. Small dent on hood and drivers fender. Only bondo is a small area on the drivers quarter. All glass is free from cracks and chips except one vent window is cracked (see photo). Car was running when purchased but is not running now - see further description. I was told the transmission and clutch worked but I can not verify. Engine head has been removed and redone (but could also use a valve job). I can put the head back on with all the parts if needed by buyer in case you do not know how it gets reassembled. Engine block needs to be cleaned of sludge and new drain plugs added. Car needs brakes, new fuel line, gas tank cleaned or replaced. Car has not been modified. It is still 6 volt and is started by pressing the accelerator to the floor. 98-99% of all pieces are with this car. As far as I know, only the passenger side front fender trim is missing. The car has the original interior too (but is badly torn). Need rollback w/ winch for pickup. Pickup only, we will NOT deliver. Car is sold as-is.
