I’m selling my 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT which has been used for the past few years for camping and vacations only. The vehicle has 123,898 actual miles on a V6 3.9 liter engine. It is equipped with automatic transmission, A/C, power windows & door locks, Cruise, tilt, sliding back glass, Sun Roof, factory chrome wheels, tilt/steering, AM/FM radio with CD player, 3" stainless steel step bars, along with tinted windows. The timing chain was replaced at 113,000. Oil pump and engine mounts replaced at 121,000. Being the fourth owner of this vehicle, it has spent most of it’s time garaged. The paint is original and in very good condition. There is no rust or peeling of the clear-coat which is common among these models. There is one minor scratch on the passenger side of the bed (see photo) which I accidently did a few weeks ago. There are Cooper tires on the front and Uniroyals on the rear that have quite a bit of thread left on them. I’ve been told by my mechanic that the engine light stays on because it needs an O2 sensor which I haven’t gotten around to replacing. The plastic pieces shown in the photo are the covers that go on the passenger seat hardware (see photo). Other than that, I know of nothing the vehicle needs.
