Vehicle Detail
1927 Ford Model T roadster-Street rod –Hotrod We have owned this 27 for some time, along with a few others, but it time to thin them down, as I just haven’t had the time to finish the one that keeps getting put on the back burner. Each time we pick up a new one, or finish another, it seems that we just enjoy the heck out of that one or this one and my last project keeps getting rolled to the back, So I’ve decided that it, "I’m done" till I get my old girl on the road, so we’ve sold our 1925 Track "T", our 56 oval window VW, double cab’s, movie cars and the list goes on, This 1927 is the last and has been without a doubt the biggest blast. We’ve driven it to Reno, Hot august nights, Pleasanton, Fresno, Santa Maria and local cars shows, all without a hitch...Now it’s your turn. Ok, so This is a glass bodied 27, on 1927 California model T rails, built by a Kat named Neely, he’s been roll ‘in hotrod and customs since back in the 60’s... It's not a ratrod, or "T" Bucket (no steering wheel between your nuts and chin) He made/pulled ten (10) of these molds, they are thick HD fiberglass, these are like no other as they have a feature that sets them apart, they have exhaust cut outs on each side just in front of the rear wheels where the dual exhaust exits. There are no cracks, spyder webbing , dings nor dents, Paint shines like a baby's behind, Always garaged and covered. It’s powered by a Datsun A15 1500CC 4 cyl engine, and auto trans, 9” ford rear-end, juice brakes on the front, drums on the rear, rack and pinion steering...It’s long and sissy and it gets 28MPG and it cruses at 70 without any worries, never over heats even up here at 105 degrees or in those parade favors when asked, every gauge works except the Speedo.. .the gauges are all Boyds and we’re removed from a 38 that was wreaked , the Speedo just need to be set up , was going to do it, just never got to it, I use my GPS when we travel, so who needs it. The "T" is Blue with a purple tint in curtin light, Hense it's name "The Purple Hurricain" This Rod has no more than 2 to 3 thousand miles on it, engine, tranny, etc…all we’re all rebuilt before/while it was being put together early 2000, all put on by me in the last two years except maybe 4oo miles. All lights work , as do the ones on the other gauges and signals, brakes etc.. The tires are all new, major street meat (31’s) on the rear on 15X10’s that track the 165-80-15 on 15X41/2’s on the front , These gives this rod a nice rake to i, and it handles very well, but you gotta love driving a go cart on the street and people bothering you….every time you park it. Add the vintage blue speckle steering wheel and shift knob and simple interior. I have a DMV clear set of1927 Ca license set that need to be restored, if it sales in California I'll toss these in too. It’s titled, and registered here in California as a 1927 Ford Model T. It’s fully insured in California via state farm classic car, agree value of $17,000.00 It’s not perfect, but it’s a perfect blast to drive and show, folks just dig it. I have no reserve on this auction; there is a buy it now at $13,000.00 .so if you bid, bid to win… No deadbeats, do not waste mine or others time, you got neg feedback (3 or more) I gotta cancel your bid unless you email and tell me why your auction challenged. Car is sold where is, as is. Winner sets up shipping, I can assist you with shipping, I use a Kat called Truly Vintage…Jim's more than fair on his rates, And he’s known in the hotrod circles as he runs all the states, he an insured independent who works his tail off, and protects your ride as if it was one of his own (He owns a few). I have also shipped more then a few of my cars to the uk, Belgum and Australia in the last few years with no worries. Car canship outta Oakland, Ca with ease. The "T" is for sale on a couple of private venues and I reserve the right to "end auction now" if the right offer is made, or it's sales. Thanks for looking, Good luck if you bid. Any questions, please email me at verykool1@msn.com Ford, chevy, dodge, merury, old's, ratrod, rat rod, hotrod, hot rod, street rod, streetrod, roadster, track, vintage, rare, On Oct-13-10 at 21:15:33 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a couple of questions. 1. the comment "It’s not perfect" Does not mean, its Imprefect..its means its not perfect, perfect..Its a hotrod , perfect would be a bit pussy wouldn't it.. Its very nice, and it shows very well, and runs like a raped ape (Ape lovers , sorry if I offend) 2. Does it have seat belts ? Yes, it does, they are on my work bench and your welcome to them, never saw a set I wish to replace them with, beside..you think in this they really going to help? 3. Could I drive it home? If you have a license and a note for your wife.. Yes you may, its will drive anyway, no worry's, sore @$$ maybe, but not from taking your wallet out to pay for repairs or a tow. And my favorite 4. How much to end the auction now, I can payapl you or wire to your bank, if you would take this ____ much..or this _____much ? We have a high bidder on a no reserve auction, This bidder is from over sea's from the emailed questions asked, and I personally know that he has spent time to research shipping , etc. Now how would he feel if I up'ed and ended the auction for someone not willing to bid.. That would be a bit dishonest, and I have been honest about the car, Answer is No, will not end it early..Buy it now, or bid your best shot to win...Only if it sells as mentioned in this auction, if it sells, on a different venve, which I will ad, the price is about a grand over buy it now. sorry, thats why I include my email address, so I can address stupid questions like the last ones, for all to see.
