What is up for auction is my beautiful 1950 Ford coupe. This Ford is from Arizona where rust and body rot are minimal, floor and trunk are solid. I had her blemishes removed ( no dents or body damage ), all bumpers, chrome, trim, and interior removed, and had her professionally painted inside and out a solid color of titanium gray to maintain the 50s original look. All body work and paint were done locally by a professional restoration shop. When I had her prepped and painted, I asked the body shop to let me know if there was any evidence of previous body work or damage, nothing significant was noted. All bumpers, chrome, and trim were straightened, dings removed, and either triple plated or polished professionally by a custom rod shop locally. While the interior was removed during the painting process, I had all the seats, door panels, rear panels reupholstered in a complementary two tone fabric to match the paint color by a local classic car upholstery restoration shop. When the interior was installed, a new headliner and carpet were also installed. It looks amazing and is a very comfortable driver. Freshly rebuilt (by a Ford mechanic) and extremely strong running Flathead V8 engine and 3 speed transmission that will deliver many more years of happy motoring. Car always starts on first turn and has never let me down. She does have overdrive as well. I recently had 4 new Coker radial whitewall tires installed for a smooth ride. I have won numerous awards locally in various car shows and hope the next owner has just as much fun as me with her.
