I'm selling my 1983 Chevrolet C10 pickup. It is a 1/2 ton, two-wheel drive pickup with a 350 v8 engine and a 700r4 (4 speed) transmission. The engine has recently had the heads rebuilt and the transmission is a rebuilt 700r4, converted to a mechanical speedometer. The later model transmission should increase the fuel economy of the truck significantly but I haven't actually tested the gas mileage to see what its getting. The truck runs strong and would make a great driver or as the basis for a restoration project. The truck is far from perfect and chief among its idiosyncrasies is probably the lovely black "spray can" paint job that a previous owner bestowed on it. If you have restoration in mind, it will need the paint and bodywork done.
