Up for sale is my 2006 M5. Indianapolis Red over Black MERINO leather. It’s always been garaged, and has NEVER seen snow. Every available option. 36,061 miles. Still has the original plastic wrap on the dead pedal and the original window stickers ON the windshield. Adult owned & driven. Never been to the track; never abused. Runs and drives impeccably. It’s been my daily driver. NO RESERVE. This WILL sell to the high bidder. This is my 4th 5-Series. My wife has a 335i coming. We’re a BMW family; I’ve been a member of the local BMW club for many years. The Good: *It’s been impeccably maintained, under warranty since day one. All maintenance items have been done on time, ONLY by BMW. No one else has ever worked on this car. Oil has been changed by BMW. All work has been done by an authorized BMW service center. Period. *Oil changes (9,000 miles remaining until next change is due) *NEW CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL this summer. It made a clump on the highway when shifting; went to the dealer. I had them both replaced to the tune of $4,000. I don’t mess around on maintenance. *NEW spark plugs in the last month *NO paint work, no accidents, no surprises, no BS. *Leather is soft and supple. SMELLS NEW. NEVER smoked in. Leather dash is like new. *All the toys: Navigation, heated seats, cooled seats, heads-up display, window shades, park-assist, comfort access, etc. *Windows are tinted; the car came from Florida. It’s legal tint; not offensively dark. The Bad: *match-tip sized chip on driver’s door *There is a ding/ripple on the roof. It was there when I bought the car. It’s not offensive, no cracking, etc., but it’s there. If you’re picky, you’ll notice it. I can show you 100 pictures from every angle if you want…. *One rear wheel has minor curb rash. I can send detailed pictures to anyone who would like to see it. Again, nothing offensive, but unlike these shady car dealers online, I’m going to go out of my way to give you the details so you have ZERO surprises. *The tires are worn. They’re worn EVENLY. None of this teenage “worn rears, good fronts” stuff… They’re the original tires with 36k, and they’re worn. If you’re getting a loan and need new tires, I can mount & balance whatever you’d like; I’ll just add them to the bid or have them shipped to my house. I figured the buyer was going to be a car guy who may have a preference as to what tires are used, so I didn’t replace them. I assumed the car would draw the cost of tires less in the inevitable value with new tires… Regardless, there’s plenty of meat on them to get you home should you choose to fly in and drive home… Summary: I’ve done my very best to describe the actual condition of this car; unlike a lot that are listed here, I’m not BS-ing anyone. I have no secrets or excuses. I have a clean car that I’ve enjoyed driving; not a junk auction car that some dealer is trying to push off on someone. Everything to the best of my knowledge and information are listed here. It’s 5-years old. It has normal, albeit minimal wear, chips from daily driving, etc; though comparatively speaking, it’s in GREAT shape. The pictures are true to the condition and appearance.
