Vehicle Detail

1989 Porsche 928 S4 330 HP (stock) + Stainless Steel X-Pipe + Rear Muffler Bypass 358 HP Have original Exhaust Manifold and Muffler that goes with the vehicle. Both are in great condition. Year: 1989 Model: 928 S4 VIN: WP0JB0925KS860437Z Mileage: 96,182 I purchased June 2009 with 82,653 miles. (This car is my commuter) Transmission: Automatic with LSD (listing says Manual) Ebay glitch Engine: 32 Valve, V-8, 330HP + Stainless Steel X-pipe (Motorsports LLC $ 649) + 26 HP...also RMB (Stainless Steel Rear Muffler Bypass $ 329) Exterior Color: White. (The paint is excellent AS NEW) This lady was professionally painted. I would guess within the last 3-4 years. It is Showroom. Interior Color: Dark Blue. Seats are spotless, No rips or tears. Steering wheel, carpets, interior trim pieces, door panels are all in good condition. Upper dash has the usual cracks. Stereo: Upgraded the head unit to a Alpine AM / FM / CD / IPOD w/Cable Speakers are new Pioneer 6 1/2" in the rear and 4 1/4" Polks up front. The sound system is louder than the open exhaust, even with the windows down. Seats: 2 piece buckets front with (2) 4 function seat controls per front seat. (8) Total adjustments per seat. The seats have both been re-colored from the original leather. The rear sets are in great shape with no tears or blemishes. The rear AC cover has a tear about 1" long. Controls: The controls are standard S4. Heating and air controls, vent, climate control sensor, stereo, 24 hour clock, ash tray, shift control, armrest/storage, window controls, moon roof, and rear windshield wiper controls, are from center top to bottom. Everything works the AC needs a charge. The heat and vent controls work great. All of the gauges work accurately. The Voltage gauge wakes up about 5 minutes after you start her up. Windshield washer light comes on intermittently. It probably needs a fresh sensor. Under the Hood: She is clean but the top plenum on the engine is missing some paint. The engine and under the hood is in good condition. and there is nothing mechanically wrong. Installed new Carbon Fiber strut brace and insulated air intakes. (not that cheap plastic tubes) Engine and the Tranny are an 11 in performance (on a 1 to 10 scale) You had better have plenty of room in front of you before you put her into the passing gear. It is literally seconds from 50 to 90 mph. Mobil 1 Synthetic every 5000 miles religoulsy. Windshield: Has one small nick. I haven't had the time to hit it with one of those epoxy sealers. Both front doors are Dynamatted, Front floor mats have been backed by 3/8" neoprene. neoprene under the carpets also. Rear wheel wells (where the 6 1/2" speakers reside) have been filled with foam. Rear trunk has also been padded with 3/8" neoprene. I quieted the cabin down. (X-pipe & RMB) Trunk/Rear Interior Compartment: The battery/spare tire (both new) compartment is clean. The toolbox is complete. The spare is there. (I purchased) MIA when I bought the car. The rear seats fold down perfectly and the seat backs . The vinyl panels in the rear compartment are in good condition but warped from the sun. Every 928 has this problem. No luggage compartment cover. The auto release works great. Headliner/Moon Roof (Sun Roof): The entire ceiling/headliner is in good shape.. The moon roof works most of the time. It is the switch on the center console. I purchased extra switches, but never got around to it. Front and rear visors all work and are in showroom condition. Exterior/Body: The exterior has one dent in the left rear quarter panel at the window. Barely visible because of it's location. Pic is shown. One small crack in the paint right under the left tail light. Touch up paint will do it. Again, time is a factor for me. The entire body and paint is a 9 1/2 out of 10. No one believes this car is 21 years old. It is a head turner due to the condition and the low gurgle under normal driving. Front headlamps and motors work perfectly. The front fogs too. Headlight washers work. Porsche did not skip a beat on this car. Front spoiler is clean. Wheels, Tires and Brakes: The wheels are factory 928 S4. Polished wheels perfectly balanced and true. The Tires are Kumho ECSTA ASX, Fronts are 225-50R-16, Rears are 245-50R-16 The tread life is excellent on these tires.Fronts and backs are at 80% I have gone into 90 degree exit ramps at pretty high speeds 60+. They hug. The over sized calipers brake this car very well. Driving this car daily is nothing but pure enjoyment. I don't think there is a stocker built in the US that can touch this car under any circumstances. I own a 6 cylinder motorcycle, with 6 carbs, but nothing makes my hair stand up like the acceleration of this car. Fear will make you pull your foot off of the gas pedal long before she is ready to quit. This car feels like she's coasting at 80 mph. Brand new Battery in March of this year. This ride has always been adult owned. Driven but never abused. The only reason I am letting her go is, we are buying a boat and I have too many toys to take care of.
