Note: A couple of years ago I had another person listing my vehicles on ebay who did a pretty good job, but a sickness came up in the family and she had to quit. I've mainly been selling locally until now. I personally will be handling all ebay sales and do my best to see that all customers are 100% satified! I will be very detailed and accurate with my descriptions and try to sell every vehicle listed at a bargain price, many at no reserve! Currently I am liquidating most of my inventory in need of the finances for another business I own. Another reason I've recently returned to ebay to sell again is due to other obligations which keep me away from my lot and also due to a lack of finding qualified (drug-free/sticky fingers free) help here locally. This way I can sell for much less since I have much less overhead and do not have to pay a 25% to 35% sales commission fee also. You save a bundle and I keep it simple while able to take care of other business and still sell cars. Everyone is a winner!!! AS FOR THE VEHICLE: This 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXI Convertible W/Gold Package was a local, adult owned, trade-in on a pickup truck. It runs and drives great and gets really great gas mileage. It, like most used vehicles, has it's positive and negative attributes. Below is a detailed list to help you... Engine (2.5L 24V MPI V6) starts great, is quiet, no smoke or noise. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly and timely. Car drives and brakes good. New synthectic Mobile-1 oil change w/Lucas & filter ($60). Lifters were a little noisey when it was traded in, but this cured it. New front tires (205/60R16), just put on by previous owner. Rear tires may need changed soon (20-40% remaining). 16" aluminum gold trimmed wheels. Automatic W/OD transmission seems perfect and also has an optional auto stick shift where you can shift it like a manual, but without the clutch. There has been some paint work/touch ups here and there. The trunk lid appears to have been sprayed and there's a spot on the hood touched up, plus some other places on the bumper covers, etc. There's a small dent just above the rear passenger wheel on the quarter panel and the front bumper cover is sagging down a little. It is equipped with an Infinity AM/FM Cassette/CD Changer, but the CD cartridge is missing. The passenger side door speaker cover is missing. Power door locks work except will not automatically lock on the driver side, but will manually and by the key just fine. A/C and heat work fine, but the fan seems to work only on high. The instrument cluster/gauges work fine, but sometimes will go out and not show anything. I tapped the dash once when it did this and it came back on and sometimes when you hit a bump it will also. Currently it has right at a full tank of gas. The dash has slighted separated where it meets the odometer cluster at the top, but it's not cracked. The convertible top is power, works great and does not leak, but around the edges the seams are loose in spots. The headlights are a little faded, but I have seen much worse. The trunk opens fine from the inside power button in the glove box, but not by the key. The windows are tinted with a rear defrost. It also has working power windows, power mirrors, power driver seat (leather is cracked/split on driver side), manual passenger seat, seat covers, universal garage door opener, tilt steering wheel, steering wheel cover, cruise control, wiper delay, driver and pasenger side air bags, coin holder in center console and the owner's manual. Overall this '98 Sebring Convertible seems to have plenty of life still left in it. I have officially over eleven years in the used auto business and many more prior this. I have found nothing major wrong with this car and I think it is very dependable. I always want to give an accurate description, but please look over the photos carefully and see for yourself.
