1979 Lincoln Collector Series This Lincoln drives like a dream! It is equipped with a powerful V8 and automatic transmission with 155,000 miles. The current owner purchased the car from the second owner in 1990 and it was primarily a Sunday car ever since having been in storage more than on the road over the last 15 years. It is equipped with the rare fixed glass moon roof. There is some bubbling around the moon roof and there is some rust under the Vinyl top. The remainder of the car and paint is shiny and bright and is very presentable. The rear bumper has been re-plated and shows very well as does the chrome on the front bumper, grill and the remainder of the car. As you can see by the pictures the car presents itself very well. The tires are newer and are in excellent condition as are the great wider white side walls. The interior is free from rips and tears, the headliner is in excellent condition. The dash is spectacular and it comes with the 8 track and CB radio. The trunk has all of the factory coverings and is in good condition. The engine compartment has the original appearance with 155,000 miles. The air conditioner compressor is frozen and the belt is off. A new starter was just put on the car prior to the listing. Listed are some of the other things that the owner has shared with me: ...driver's-side vent window motors down but gets off track (does not affect lowering of window, just needs to be held in place on the way down) ...A/C does not work ....Cartier digital clock no longer works ...electronic antenna does not motor down ...vacuum pump controlling headlight doors looses pressure (doors will close when engine is started) ...Headlamp Twilight Senntinal/Auto On/Off switch replaced with standard light switch ... 8 track player is a bit flaky off and on I'm selling this car for a friend and he is ready to sell his baby.
