The reason I am selling is unfortunately I cannot give this car the time and attention it deserves. As of right now I cannot justify another investment; I can estimate it needs another $300-400 dollars to get her running and roadworthy. Right now there is a hole in the intake boot which will not allow the fuel injection system to operate properly. Vehicle Flaws: Car needs a new boot for the air intake (as pictured with the crack) Car may need a cold start valve as it was hard to start when cold. Left rear brake rotor needs to be replaced as it is cracked. Rear bumper needs to be properly installed Could use a rear wiper insert. Radio does not power on. Headliner is sagging a liuttle. Trunk shocks need replacement. Conclusion: This car is a classic VW. When I had the chance to drive it, the car handled like a dream. I wouldn’t say this is an all out project car but it does need some TLC to get things going. Due to the nature and age of this car I cannot provide any express or implied warranty on this vehicle but I am being as honest as possible about the condition. These cars are relatively easy to work on and parts for them are pretty inexpensive. This car would be a great little Daily Driver or even a great donor car for a motor swap. I am looking to sell this to someone who fully appreciates (a VW enthusiast I should say). I hate to get rid of her. It’s light, fast and fun. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. I can provide my cell number VIA Ebay message if need be. Thanks for looking!
