Up for auction is my 1973 Dodge Charger SE. This is an original New Mexico car so it is solid and has/had virtually no rust. I bought the car in 2003 and spent 3 years restoring it. The car was originally green (exterior and interior). It originally had a 400 engine and a 727 auto transmission. I replaced the engine with a rebuilt 440 and replaced the transmission with a 4 speed. The engine, transmission, and rear end were built by a very reputable mopar performance shop (Six Pack Performance in Albuquerque NM). Since I finished the restoration I have put roughly 1000 miles on it. This is why I am selling it, I just don't drive it enough. It has been well taken care of and has never seen the race track. It is always garage kept. The powertrain is very strong and the car as a whole looks great but it isn't cosmetically perfect. There are a few small blemishes as depicted in the pictures. The interior was restored by Legendary Auto Interiors in Albuquerque. The bumpers were powder coated semi-gloss black for a sleek look. The bucket seats are not original. I do have the original build sheet. New Mallory distributor New Mopar Performance Electronic Ignition New Holley 750 CFM Street Avenger Carburetor New Weiand Aluminum Intake New Be Cool Aluminum Radiator Rebuilt 4 Speed Transmission with Hurst Pistol Grip Rebuilt 8 3/4 diff. w/323 gears and posi-track New wheels (17") & Cooper Zeon 2XS tires (243x45xR17) New drive shaft Rebuilt suspension New leaf springs New Hooker Headers 3" exhaust w/Flowmaster Super 40 Series mufflers Alpine CD player installed in hole that was cut by original owner for 8-track player New Infinity speakers installed The winning bidder will also receive the original steering wheel, a/c compressor (this was originally an a/c car), original starter motor (replaced with a smaller high performance model), and bumper guards. I will also include the 4 original rally wheels. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of these since they are being stored at my in-laws tire shop. For payment, I accept paypal, or cash (in person). A 20% down payment is due within 3 days of auction and the balance within 7 days.
