This a 1989 BMW 325ic it has a automatic transmission. I purchased the car used in 1998 from a college age girl whom had purchased it from her father. The car is not in running condition, the timing belt broke and as result it bent the valves. A new timimg belt has been installed but there is no compression. My mechanic estimated the cost to repair approximately $1,200 to $1,500. I own several other sport cars, this car was driven seasonally - summers, so I decided to wait to repair and the BMW has been in indoor storage since the sumer of 2008. The car is in generally good condtion, from the interior - I recovered the front leather sport seats, the rear seats are split at the ususal seams. The manual convertible top and rear window are in good condition. The original wheels are on the car and the tires are about 50%. The overal body is in good condition, but there is some hail damage on the front hood and rear trunk. The odometer reads 69024, it stopped working - there are probable over 100,000 miles on the car. All electronics, window, radio etc. worked at the last time of operation. This is a fun 6 cyl e30 convertible. The BMW 325ic is a complete car that needs repair. The car is as is- where is condition.
