Here we have a 1968 Buick GS400 convirteble. I bought this car 22 years ago from a guy who had restored it. I drove it for a while and then parked it. Has been driven only a couple of times simce 1992. The original 400 engine is not in the car. 20 years ago I replaced it with a GS350 engine. The original 400 block is not available. The engine in the car is 350 cubic inch buick with a four barrel carburator. The car does have factory air and it did used to work. The back seat in the car is in bad shape. the front seats are in good condition. Carpeting is black and not in bad shape. There is rust on the car in all the typical places these cars rust. The trunk could use some new panels. I hit all the floor areas in the car and it still felt solid. I put up as many pictures as I could to make sure you could see the condition of the car. This is a project car and needs restoration. The car does run. I recently put on a new mater cylender and a new fuel pump. It starts up and it will move. It needs a new radiator. The one that is in it leaks so I did not drive it very far. A brand new top comes with the car that was never installed. That alone is worth $500. The current top has a glass window that is in good condition. I would recommend that you tow or trailer the car from its present location. There were only about 2400 of these made. All the chrome for the car is there. Extra chrome pieces and more. Two boxes of extra parts. I am not sue of I stated about the convirteble glass window accurately. The glass window in the top is OK. The convertible top itself is shot. The new convertible top comes with a plastic window. The original color of the car used to be gold. It is now dark blue. Power steering still worked when I drove it today. Brakes were soft because I did not have a chance to bleed then after I changed the master cylinder. Radio is an stereo unit, but it is not original. I might still have the original radio. But I cannot promise that. I did install a new bettery earlier this year. If I do find a radiator and the bid goes high enough I will change it out. Starts up with no valve or bearing noises. Does not smoke.
