Vehicle Detail

For sale is one 1950 Ford F1 pickup. The body and frame are original. The motor is an 258 AMC inline 6 out of a 1976 CJ7. The 3 speed manual tranny, steering column and gear box, and the front and rear ends are from the same donor vehicle. I have added a holley four barrel to the motor with aluminum intake and new alternator. The truck runs and drives great and does not smoke. I have installed new heavy duty leaf springs front and back as well as new shocks, steering gear box, steering stabilizer and brakes. The front end was checked out and is tight. I will include new aftermarket seatbelts that can be installed in truck as well as new high output coil and heavy duty plug wires. Also included is new distributor and new after market gauges and tachometer. I purchased this truck on e-bay from a guy in Florida who purchased it from a farm in Texas were the conversion took place. He said it had been sitting in a barn for a while. He bought it,cleaned it up and re-sold it. I had the intentions of really fixing it up but have neither the time or money. The 4x4 is solid and works perfect. The truck has new alloy rims with new Maxis buckshot mudgrip tires. The truck still has the original vacuum wiper motor and original radiator. The truck does have some rust and has had body work to these areas in the past but is in pretty solid shape for it's age. There are no dents that I can see. The bed looks like it has the original wood in it with a factory steel bed cover over it. There is a hole in the front drivers corner of the bed bottom that can be repaired. The running boards have been replaced with custom built wood one's(looks like maby teak wood). The interior is black with headliner that is tan and tan seat cover.I added 2 inches of spacer to front wheels and 4 inches to the back wheels to give it a wider stance as the jeep axles are a little narrow for my taste. All lights work. Speedo and fuel gauge work. Other factory gauges are disconnected. Truck has custom built wood mount over original radio location which is were tachometer and after market oil, temp and battery gauges are mounted. Has original bench seat. If you are looking for a unique 4x4 that will turn head's (especially with some body work and a fresh coat of paint) then this truck is for you. If you are looking for a pretty solid body and frame to put back to stock or maby even drop in different running gear etc.. then you will have a solid motor and tranny as well as running gear that you can drop back in a jeep body or sell. The milage listed is what show's on the odometer and does not reflect the milage for any part of the vehicle as I do not know the history of the donor vehicle and I am sure the odometer has turned over at least once on the truck due to its age. This truck is for sale locally. I have the title from Florida when I purchased it but do not have an Alabama title as any vehicle older than 1974 does not need a title. Please feel free to ask any questions.
