I also put in a new battery, while putting it in I shorted out the stereo. I'm sure its just a fuse. Just installed a new chrome edelbrock carburetor. If you know about vettes, original carbs are sluggish after awhile and rebuilts only work good for a while. The edelbrock carb eliminates all slugishness and eliminates all hesitation!!!!!!!! (The original air cleaner will be included in the sale) The car runs smooth shifts perfectly and is ready to go. It has a fast response very powerful V8 not a project car and not like some other classic car that feels rough It's a fun ride fast in supper great condition. All electronics are original and working except for the radio is not original or working (only a fuse-I blew it when I put in a new battery). Dome lights, electric seat, wipers, and window spray all work, all gauges appear to be working. Even the original hood light works when the hood opens. Heater fan working-AC disconnected-compressor is there but disconnected (not sure if compressor is working or not. The body has very few stress cracks and chips The interior is near perfect except for a 3" tear on the drivers seat ($50 fix at the upholstery shop). Dash is excellent with no cracks or fading. Carpeting is near excellent with no fading or stains. Mirrored T-Tops are near perfect The original owner told me the Eagle Alloy wheels and the ground effects where installed by the dealer when the car was new.
