Up for sale ia a Honda CA100 (cub 50). I bought this scooter at a garage sale a few weeks ago in the same condition as you see it in the pictures. I have not touched this scooter at all, just simply have put in my barn and covered it. Its been in my dry barn with cement, so no worries about moisture. I've previsoly have owned two of these bikes before, one being a 1969 Honda CA100 and the other a 1981 Passport C70. They are magnificent bikes when in proper running shape, they were certainly built to take the test of time. Back to the scooter itself, the body is in very good condition, cables all seem to be free, wheels have almost no rust on them, tires are dry rotted and need replaced, speedo is stuck on around 40mph, around 3700 miles on it. The previous owner lost the ignition key from what I was told and he decided to wire in his own coil and did some other wiring modifications. The original wiring harness though is 100% in tact but he did add wires to it and I don't believe he ever did figure it out. The old ignition and other parts come with the bike. The engine turns over well and seems to have decent compression. I added the vin code in the description. I tried to read it off the frame the best I could. I'm not sure if its right due to some rust forming over a few of the numbers. And the previous owner told me it was a 1969 model. I don't know if he is correct or not. It does say 69 in the vin. But I'm not an expert, I will gladly try and help you out by answering any questions you may have. I will be 100% honest and I'm not going to screw around with you. This bike is a project bike and needs work. It is sold as is, I do not have a title for it. Just a receipt from the previous owner. Thanks for looking! My reserve is $100.00. Local Pick-up only!
