Vehicle Detail

up for auction is a 67 camaro coupe.this is a restoration project, selling with no reserve!!!! no local sale, no buy it now, you want it, bid !! it will need a complete restoration just like most you find on here. i've owned it about 5 years, took it in on a deal. never intended to restore this one and now it's time for it to go.it will need alot of it's sheetmetal replaced but the core of the car is solid.frame does not appear to have anything other than surface rust.front subframe is also good. both rear floorpans have a hole,r/s has an old poprivet patch, but they are not totally gone. front pans have some pin holes, but are not gone. the trunk pan is the same, some pin holes in one area, but again still pretty solid compared to how the exterior panels look. will probably need whole front clip. the one on the car is not bolted to the car, just sitting there.the doors are good and still shut tight. lower parts of the quarters are bondo, but when you look in the trunk, the corners still look good so it may just need lower patches. inside the drivers door, where the post meets the rocker, there is a hole. i have a pic of it. pass side is fine.the roof also has two issues. it is rusted out at the top of the windshield and a spot on left side where it meets the q-panel. the spoiler on the back is broken and the decklid is dented in, all thanks to me..... wow, it rolls very well !!! the spoiler could be fixed but the decklid, umm, probably not.the interior, original pass seat is missing. the rest are original but will need covered. safe to say it needs the whole interior redone. no suprises here. it has a set of manual pedals that come with the car. none inside it now. i'm not sure what it had originally, has a column shift in it now, but has a hole with a rubber seal on the tunnel. i've never decoded it but it has a 327 badge on it. i do have what i guess is a 327 that goes with the car. it came with the deal the numbers from the engine are, the front T I I I S R and on the back, 3782870. if there are more somewhere else and you need them just let me know. did not see any casting numbers on the heads, unless you have to take off a valve cover. i have no idea of the motors condition. just assume it needs a complete rebuild, then nobody gets hurt. no trans, no driveshaft, no master cylinder. it has power steering and pump.it does have a crossmember. no other under hood parts and no hood hinges. it has 15 in, rally wheels with trim rings but no centers. tires hold air but are dry rotted.the windshield has edge separation but all other glass is good. i'm not trying to pass this off as an easy project, but in my own opinion, the car is still solid where it counts. not trying to get rich on it either, it is what it is, bid accordingly. if you have 0 feedback or negative, call me first,i know we all started at 0. but just prefer open communication over bs. email or call with any questions. 302-531-5185, mitch. selling to continental us only !!! 250.00 deposit within 48 hrs after auction, balance in 7 days. car can sit a reasonable time after it's paid for. will be glad to help with loading. cowl tag reads 12E ST 67-12437 NOR 64119 BODY TR TR 709-Z G-G PAINT i hope all this helps. and of course, it is sold as-is with no warranty. shipping is the buyers responsibility. i have good feedback, and work to keep it that way. ask all questions before you bid, and if you win, pay for it. i have tried to describe the car as completely as possible. if something was left out, it was not intentional, like i said before, not gonna get rich off this one. it's just time for it to goOn Sep-26-10 at 08:44:28 PDT, seller added the following information: i canceled the bid of a 0 feedback bidder after i made several attempts to contact them with no response. it is simple, if you have 0 feedback, contact me first, by phone 302-531-5185. so i can verify that you are a serious about bidding. On Sep-29-10 at 09:26:07 PDT, seller added the following information:bidder cjf71584 has spoke to me, on the phone, and is ok to bid.
