1972 Datsun 510 Wagon. L-16 Engine runs, but needs a tune-up. Points are worn, but distributor shaft is tight. Has an aftermarket carburetor (Holley or Weber, can't remember for sure)Does not knock, overheat or smoke. 4-speed transmission shifts good, clutch is in good working condition. Brakes work as they should.Body is solid, but there is some rust. Pictures show that the worst is on the rear "dog-legs & lower quarters. Does not appear to have ever been wrecked. Has a rust hole in the floor on the driver's side, but over-all this is a pretty solid car. Interior is rough, but all of the parts are there.Has 4 Brand-New tires. I am a former Datsun mechanic & know these cars pretty well. These cars are reliable & easy to work on. Most of these cars have rusted away. Datsun 510's are highly desireable classics. Will make a nice driver with a reasonable amount of work.Parts are cheap and still available from several sources. The car is located in Lima Ohio. Has a clean Michigan Title (never got it transferred, but it is ready to go from the previous owner) Can be driven onto a trailer, but I would not try to drive it without a thorough mechanical inspection. Plan on trailering or using a tow dolly to get it home. I pulled it 150 miles with a tow-dolly. It tows nicely.
