For Sale is a Beautiful 1973 Chevy Nova 2 dr coupe This car is Burnt Orange with Silver racing stripes on the cowl induction hood & rear deck lid. The body is very straight, Body & paint job appear to be fresh & good quality. The rear quarters have been replaced & looks to be a good job. The trunk lock was shaved so a power release was installed. The body has a few minor flaws but overall I would rate the body & paint a 8.5 of 10. Under the hood, this car is far from stock. The drivetrain consists of a Tuned Port Injection 5.7L engine that looks to be a very fresh rebuild. The transmission is a 4L60E automatic overdrive. A positrack rear end rounds out the drivetrain. Engine & transmission are originally out of a 93 Pontiac Trans Am. They were installed using a Perfect wiring harness & control module. It appears to be a pretty good installation. It fits nicely & looks good too. A new fuel tank & electric fuel pump were also installed. This was originally a power steering, power brake , A/C car. The a/c is not hooked up & I am not sure, but looks like all it would take a compressor & some lines to make a/c operable. As you can imagine this car is a blast to drive with plenty of power under the hood. In my opinion it needs a disc brake conversion as the old drum brakes stop the car but it has far more horsepower than stopping power. There are a few trim pieces missing & the windshield has a crack, but this car is still a real head turner. The interior is black & consists of front buckets with a rear bench. the interior has been redone. The plastic moulding inside could stand to be touched up, but overall it looks really good. I would rate the interior a 8 of 10. New American Racing Special Edition wheels are wrapped with new 235/45/17 tires in the front & 245/45/17 in the rear. Other extras include a B&M shifter & K&N air filter. Overall this is one tough looking, sweet running machine that the previous owner spent more than $14,000 building. All it needs is just a few very small details to be finished. It is a bargain at the low reserve considering the upgrades & modifications it has recieved.
