Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. I recently inherited this car along with an SC3 and I have decided to sell the Shadow to pay for repairs on the Cloud. This car is in good shape cosmetically. As I mentioned I recently inherited the car, and before I got it, it had been sitting in a garage for 5 years. I took the pictures in this listing immediately after taking the car out of the garage so it is still covered in dust. Inspite of that, as you can see from the pictures, the paint is still in such good shape that your can see reflections in its surface. The interior seats are also in excellent condition as are the floor mats, door trim etc. That is the good stuff. Now for the bad: THIS CAR DOES NOT CURRENTLY RUN. The engine has been partially disassembled before I got it, and it was never reassembled. I believe all the parts for the engine are there, but I'm not a mechanic so I can't be sure of that. A few pieces of exterior trim are missing from the car. I have a replacement chrome strip for the drivers side front fender, and a replacement Rolls Royce Emblem for the trunk. These ARE included with the auction! The grill and hubcaps have also been removed. I have replacements, but they are NOT included in this auction. If you would like the replacement grill, the dashboard wood, or the hubcaps, please bid on my other auctions. I have included pictures so you can see what they look like, but again - THE GRILL, THE DASHBOARD WOOD, AND HUBCAPS are NOT included but are available separately if you want them. I did it this way so if someone wants the car as a parts car, it will be cheaper. I forgot to check the mileage before I put the car into storage but given that the engine will need some reassembly anyway, the mileage is less meaningful in this case. I filled in 100K as a placeholder, this is NOT the actual mileage. This car overall is in good shape, and could almost certainly be made to run again with very little need for additional or replacement parts. But it will require someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to putting these cars back together. There is NO warranty on this car, and I cannot guarantee that any of the parts are in sound mechanical condition as I'm not a mechanic and have never driver this vehicle. Shipping is at the buyers expense and will be out of Greenville/Spartanburg SC. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. Mike
