NO RESERVE!!! HIGH BIDDER GETS A GREAT RUNNING 73 BARRACUDA!!! Up for auction is this awesome 73 plymouth barracuda. Original 318 car, now has rebuilt 383. sounds like a HEMI. it's pretty incredible. Motor was rebuilt less than 1500 miles ago, it's still standard bore it only needed honing and cleaned up. the inside was like new. this cost $2800. auto tranny was rebuilt as well. it has a manual shift pattern/ratchet type shifter. the rear end is a 4.10 sure grip 8 3/4 with richmond gears. It has dual exhaust exiting out the sides. The paint is a tangerine orange (newer mopar color that looks like go mango), it was painted in 2008. good driver. the car runs and drives, but it doesn't hit the road much. it was drag raced by previous owner with a built 440 and it was running high 11's. car was not cut up. the worked iron heads, good cam etc are on this 383 now from the 440. the car in my opinion needs the following: 1. paint has a few spots that have chipped, and personally i don't care for this color, but is very presentable as is 2. there is a bump in the back lower driver's side fender from getting hit with an engine hoist in the garage. it can be fixed easily. 3. the interior needs a few pieces to be installed, as well as some chrome trim outside.. i have all of the parts for the car. 4. grille is busted in the front, it was purchased off ebay for $600 bucks and came in damaged. seller disappeared. it could be repaired but in my opinion it would be easier to find a better one. 5. seats are in great shape, but are not original 6. factory gauges do not work, it does have a triple gauge set in the center of the dash. 7. while the car has disc brakes, and they work good. the motor has a wicked 509 cam, which affects the vacuum on the brakes 8. the rear valance was left off the car when racing, and was not painted to match. You won't find more car for the money. the car visually has no rust at all, frame is nice, floors are solid, trunk floor is solid. it did have quarters put on in 2008 when painted. This will be the cheapest barracuda you will find on ebay that runs and drives.. can be taken to the track next weekend, driven to a local car show, etc. . Any questions don't hesitate to ask!
