For auction this 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4. All power, everything works. 4.7 engine, automatic transmission. this was a 1 owner truck until i got it last week. i already have 3 trucks, i was going to make a work truck out of it but changed my mind. the motor is new. at 68k a valve was acting up, the owner took it to have it worked on and they didn't tighten up a bolt putting it back together. few miles later boom. a new 4.7 from mopar was purchased and installed(by a different shop lol). it runs great, tranny shofts smooth. As you can see the body was beat up, it was used on a farm and bumped into trailers and such on a regular basis. it's still a very nice truck, and has really low miles. everything works as it should, including the 4wd. the interior is good, but definitely needs a good cleaning. A/C blows ice cold. there are some stains on the carpets etc. the dash has NO CRACKS. 2 cosmetic items it needs are ash tray cover, and a new driver's sunvisor. The tires are 34 inch and have 75-80% left. they are really nice. it has ranchhand bumpers on the truck which were near $2000 with purchase and installation. you will not find a better truck for the money if you can get past the dents and scratches, it would make an excellent 4wd work truck for this winter. i wouldn't be afraid to drive it home anywhere in the country. The only issue i have noticed is that the check engine light comes on intermittently. i had it checked and it's code 0507, which is an idle higher than expected. i was told it could be due to the new engine the computer is still learning the curve of the motor. anyway it runs fine, i like to be up front and honest about everything. if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. this truck will be sold look up the other 100 02-08 rams on ebay and compare pricing. KBB trade in value in FAIR condition is $13,600. Someone wil steal this truck. Thanks for looking and good luck.
