The Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) is a retractable hardtop convertible pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet between 2003 and 2006. The truck was based on the long-wheelbase Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT's platform, and featured "retro" styling and a steel retractable hardtop designed by ASC. The production model was based on the SuperSport Roadster concept car shown at the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. An early-production SSR was the pace car for the 2003 Indianapolis 500 auto race. The 2005 SSR used the 390 hp (291 kW) LS2 V8 also found in the C6 Corvette and Pontiac GTO, and also offered a manual transmission (the six-speed Tremec) for the first time, as an option. The vehicle is schedule to run in the auction next week, that,s why we set this auction for 5 days. The vehicle was purchased from an Auto Auction as a repo & they had announced frame which I had checked by a bodyshop and chevrolet dealer and they did not find anything wrong. We had the front bumper, rear bumper, resprayed. The fog light cover is missing in the pictures, but has been ordered from the dealer along with the Chevy badge for the trunk. It does need some P.D.R. (Paintless Dent Removal) on the Decklid, Drivers quarter & Tailgate, but like a said earlier we are wholesalers and not retailers, but if the buyer of this vehicle will like we could have the service done. It could use some new tires in the rear and front have about half thread left on them. The wheels as u could see in pics are in great shape but the passenger front has minor curb rash that you could see upclose. This is a great car if you have been searching for one and not wanting to pay all these ridiculous prices I have been seeing on Ebay my GOD. The vehicle could be inspected by you or whoever you choose. I try to give as much information as I can so there is no suprises.
